Helen Anna (Bujjoni) Flood died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the age of 77 from sudden heart failure.

Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Helen attended St. Paul of the Cross ElementarySchool and Trade School afterwards. She held various jobs throughout her life, culminating with her work for the State of New Jersey's JudiciaryDivision as a court clerk.

An exceptionally selfless, funny, generous, and caring human being, Helen was especially devoted to her family andalwaysput them above all else. A voracious reader, she enjoyed traveling, Broadway, and mystery shows but above all else loved spending time with family and friends.

Helen is survived by her only child, John Patrick Flood, her grandchildren Alison Catherine Flood and Aidan Mattingly Harn-Flood, and her best friend of nearly 70 years Madeline Kenny. Helen was predeceasedby her parents, John Bujjoni and Helen Schmaus of Jersey City, NJ, her sister Lois (Bujjoni) Disbrow of Keansburg, NJ, and her late husband, Philip Patrick Flood, also of Jersey City, NJ.

A memorial service will not be held at the current time due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. Plans for a service will be revisited once things get back to some sense of normalcy.
