John M. Caillie, Sr., 66, of West Milford passed away on July 19, 2021. Born in Paterson, John was a resident of West Milford for many years. John worked as an art teacher for the West Milford Board of Education for 20 years before retiring.

Beloved husband of Jean A. (Sinsabaugh)Caillie. Devoted father of son John M. Caillie, Jr. and wife Brittany, and son Alex F. Caillie. Loving grandfather of John M. Caillie, III and Brooke Ava Caillie. Dear son-in-law of Mary Ann Woods. Cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews, and loving brother-in-law to many.

Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of Compassionate Cremation Services, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
