Juanita Maria Leguia, 87, of Orange passed away on September 20, 2018. Born in Chimbote, Ancash, Peru, Juanita came to the US in the 1960's and first settled in New York City before moving to Orange many years ago. Juanita was an active member and elder of the Spanish Seveth Day Adventist Church in Newark. Before moving to the US, Juanita owned and operated her own garment company in Peru and she continued as a seamstress in the US where she specialized in custom order clothing.

Beloved sister of Esparanza "Nena" Leguia Rodriguez, Amparo Leguia Carrillo, and Juan Jose Leguia, all of Peru, and Augusto "Auggie" A. Leguia of Warner Robins, GA. Dear aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services were private under the direction of Compassionate Cremation Services, Clifton.
