Mary Rossel, of Pompton Plains, NJ, formerly of Paramus, Park Ridge, and also Potomac, MD, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on October 4, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of the late Edwin and Cecelia Fisher. Mary attended Weehawken High School where she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Rossel, whom she later married, and with whom she shared 48 years together.

Mary, after receiving her degree from Centenary College and marrying Bob, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She and Bob raised their family in Paramus. She was a lifelong volunteer in many local school, hospital, church and animal therapy organizations. An avid golfer, dog lover and sewing enthusiast, Mary and Bob loved spending their summers at their home in Dennis, MA, relaxing on the beach and swimming in the "refreshing" water of Cape Cod Bay. She particularly loved sharing their time on the Cape with their children, grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Mary is predeceased by her husband, Bob. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses; Robin (Ed) O'Brien, Nancy (Bob) Bowlin and Todd (Jennifer) Rossel; her 4 grandchildren, Craig, Katie, Louisa and Casey; and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by all her beloved and faithful dogs.

A private memorial will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
