Richard John Howard, 57, of Newark passed away on March 4, 2022. Born in Newark, Richard lived all his life in Newark. Richard worked as a home health aide for Personal Preference, Elizabeth, for many years. A supporter of the Social Club House, Springfield, Richard often counseled his peers in the Muslim community. Richard loved going for walks, and enjoyed listening to music especially to Barry White and Blue Magic.

Beloved husband for 16 years of Patrice Howard (Garris). Devoted father of Tylah Jean, Michael and Melanie Howard. Cherished grandfather of 7. Loving brother of ZZena Howard of Elizabeth.
