It is with great love and remembrance that the family of Yves Vaval announces his passing on October 2, 2025, at the age of 97. Yves passed away peacefully at Morristown Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Cavaillon, Haiti, on November 14, 1927, Yves lived in Forest Hills, New York, and led a life marked by perseverance, intelligence, and compassion. Fluent in three languages, he carried his Haitian roots and political perspective with pride throughout his life.

After immigrating to the United States, Yves built a successful career in New York City as an Accountant and later as a Controller, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his professionalism and intelligence.

Yves was a man of strength, deep wisdom, and was devoted to his wife, Ann Mary Lue-Chung, and to his family. He found joy in their accomplishments and took great pride in the values he passed on to them.

A devoted father and grandfather, Yves is survived by his two daughters, four stepchildren, and his beloved grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory and legacy forward with love.

Yves will be remembered for his sharp mind, gentle humor, and generous heart. His life was a testament to perseverance and quiet strength, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, at 1:30 PM, at The National Shrine of Czestochowa in the Barn Chapel, located at
